Day Trips:
Sarlat: set off early to St Foy, from here,
you can take a break from the car and travel
by train to the Dordogne region enjoying
the wonderful views of the French
countryside arriving in time for lunch.

Canoeing: (summer only) Leave your car at Beynac (2 hour drive)
and take the canoe bus up river.
From here you can slowly drift back down the beautiful river Dordogne maybe stopping for a swim and a picnic lunch or restaurant meal.
You will be amazed at the stunning scenery as you pass by the medieval villages and chateaux perched on the high cliff tops
